Тема: Hobbies.

Цели урока:

практическая – приобретение навыков использования английского языка как средство

общения в реальной жизни и выражения собственного мнения.

общеобразовательная – совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической

речи в коммуникации по теме «Hobbies».

воспитательная – формирование творческого мышления учащихся через коммуникацию,

общения, взаимоотношения и презентацию собственного мнения.

развивающая – развитие коммуникативных умений учащихся по описанию различных

увлечений.

Задачи:

1) закрепить активную лексику по данной теме, формировать коммуникативную

культуру общения школьников

2) развивать коммуникабельность, самостоятельность, способности к связному

высказыванию по теме;

3) воспитывать умение работать в группе

4) воспитывать умение внимательно слушать и слышать, уважать мнение

другого человека;

5) практиковать лексико –грамматические навыки на предложениях.

Тип урока: урок – обобщение лексико- грамматического материала

Форма урока: соревнование

Технические средства обучения: магнитофон, компьютер, проектор.

Дополнительные пособия: карточки со словами, опоры с типовыми вопросами, фразами

для монологической и диалогической речи.

Аспекты языка: лексика, грамматика, аудирование.

Виды речевой деятельности: говорение, чтение, письмо, аудирование.

1. Приветствие. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Hello, children! How are you today? I’m glad to see you. Let's begin our lesson. Today

we'll talk about different hobbies. I am sure that all of you have a hobby. Am I right?

Today we shall have a competition. We have two teams. Divide into two teams and choose the

names and the leaders.) You will get points for each right answer. Then we will see who the

winner is.

So the topic is "My favourite hobby". By the way, what is hobby? Do you have hobbies? What

are they?

- I want you to listen to my stories. I shall describe different hobbies. You can see the numbers

of the hobbies on the blackboard and you will use the cards with the numbers on your desks.

( У каждого обучающегося на парте лежат карточки с цифрами от 1 до 4. Каждому тексту

соответствует своя цифра. Дети должны разложить карточки в той последовательности, в

которой услышили описание хобби.)

People like to make new dishes. They often cook for the family and for their friends. They can

present the food nicely and lay the table beautifully. They use spices (vinegar, oil, pepper, etc.)

They can boil or fry meat, fish, chicken and make deserts. ( Cooking.)

This hobby is popular among the people of all ages. People like to go the stadium or to the sports

ground. They are strong and cheerful. Their hobby helps them to develop their mind and body

and teaches them to plan their time. (Sport.)

This hobby is interesting and useful. People try to find or buy different things such as stamps,

badges, coins, pictures, dolls, etc. Their collections can be thematic. This hobby helps people to

make new friends and to learn some new things about countries and lands, animals and birds,

famous people and historical events. (Collecting.)

People like to go to the library. Some of them have a good collection of books at home. And they

are really proud of it. They can have different books: fiction, historical novels, books about

animals and birds, books about different countries. Their hobby helps them to relax, to learn the

world and understand other people better. (Reading.)

5. Совершенствование навыков говорения по теме « Hobbies».

And now let’s speak about different kind of hobbies.

As you see, I have a lot of flowers here in class and much more at home. I also enjoy growing

flowers in my garden. I’m sure they make our life more beautiful. So my hobby is gardening.

And now I’d like you to speak about your hobbies.

Who is fond of collecting stamps? Is it interesting? Have you got your collection? Is it thematic?

Vova . My grandfather is fond of collecting stamps. He has got a very good collection and he is

proud of it. His stamps can tell you about different people and about different countries. My

grandfather often says that his hobby is popular with people of all ages.

Collecting stamps is easy and interesting. It is real fun. You begin to lean many interesting facts

about history and famous people when you start to collect stamps.

At first people collect every kind of stamps. But soon they begin to make special collections.

Sometimes they specialize in stamps of one subject only: for example

birds, animals, flowers or sports. This kind of collecting is called thematic. My grandfather’s

collection is thematic. His theme is history.

Teacher: Books and magazines are our best friends, aren’t they? Dima, can you say that

reading is your hobby?

Dima. I like reading. Reading is my hobby. When I was a child my parents read a lot of books

to me. I liked to read books about animals, nature and children.

Now I like to read books about travelling. You can learn many things from the books. Books

can help us. Our family has got many books. I ‘m proud of our collection of books.

Teacher: Cooking is a beautiful hobby, isn’t it? Can everybody cook well. Tell us about your

hobby.

Kseniya: My name is Kseniya.My hobby is cooking. I like to make cakes and pies. My cakes

are very tasty but I like pies best of all. I’ll tell you how my mother and I make cabbage pies.

We take a cabbage head, cut it and put it into a frying-pan. We put

grated carrot into the frying –pan . Then I salt the cabbage and carrot to my taste, and mix them.

My mother cuts up the pastry-dough, rolls it and I make small pies. My parents and friends like

to eat my pies. I advise you to make tasty pies too.

Lilya: I like to travel. We see a lot of interesting places and we meet interesting people. I like to

travel by car. When we go by car, we don’t need to by tickets. We put all the things into the car.

We went to the seaside last summer. The weather was fine. It was warm and we could swim.

It is comfortable to travel by train, but it is difficult to buy tickets by train.

I enjoy all kind of travelling very much.

Teacher: I know that Polina is fond of dancing. Would you like to tell us about your

hobby?

Polina: There are different hobbies in people's lives. Dancing is one of them. My friend and I

like the same hobby. We dance together. We dance on the school stage. We dance at the school

parties. I think, dancing is great. It makes our life happier and more interesting. We can spend

our free time dancing and singing.

I would like to dance for you.

Teacher: Who is interested in travelling? Where have you been? Maxim, What about you?

Teacher: There is one more hobby -sport. Who likes sport? What kind of sport are you fond of?

Tell us about your hobby.

Andrey. My hobby is sport. We have Physical Education

on Monday and on Saturday.There is a sportsground near our school. Boys and girls play volley-

ball and basket-ball at the lesson.

My favourite sport is football. I go to the sportschool twice a week. I do morning exercises

every day . I take part in different competitions.

My friend Kirill likes football too. He is a brave boy.

Sport is very important to us

Teacher: What is your hobby, Masha?

Masha I like animals and I have got a cat and a dog at home. I take care of my pets. My

dog’s name is Barbos. He is little and black. My dog has got a small nose, big green eyes and a

nice tail. Barbos ist very clever. He is a true friend. He is a lovely dog and I like to play with

him. He likes to sit under the table in the kitchen or to lie on the carpet in my room.

When my friends come to see me I show them my pet.

Teacher: How do you spend your free time, Diana ?

Diana Taking pictures is my hobby. My parents presented me with a good camera last birthday. I

never leave home without my camera. I love taking pictures of my family and of my friends. We

have a lot of pictures now. And this is a good memory for all of us.

People say they like my photos. Let me take a picture of our class.

Teacher: Lyuba, tell us about your hobby.

Lyuba: My name is Lyuba. I would like to tell you about my hobby. My hobby is music. I like

singing children and popular songs. I like rock very much. I often sing. I sing at home, at school

and during the breaks. Music is my favorite subject at school. I take part in different school

concerts. I like to sing on the stage. My favorite song is Mr. Crocodile.

I would like to sing this song for you.

Teacher: What about you, Boris?

Collecting badges is easy and interesting .It is a real fun.My best friend …………… is a

collector too. He is a fond of collecting badges. He collects every kind of badges. His badges

can tell you about birds, animals, flowers, sports , cities He keeps his badges on the wall. When

you come into his room you can see them all there.

Marina. Collecting things is not the only hobby people have. Some people who live in big

cities and towns are fond of gardening, growing flowers and vegetables.

Gardening is one of the oldest man's hobbies. The English are very fond of gardening ( and

growing flowers, especially roses). My mother is fond of gardening too.

She is proud of her flowers and vegetables.

Alyosha: My name is Alyosha. My hobby is watching cartoons. I fond of cartoon about Mickey

Mouse. Mickey Muse is friendly and funny. He can speak, dance and sing.

He can live like a man. People saw Mickey Mouse on the screen for the first time in 1928.

Mickey became very popular and soon Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse were famous stars.

6. Формирование навыков чтения c подстановкой.

Teacher: And now let’s read the storie about Bob’s hobbie and fill in :

explain and understand the meaning of these sayings:

8. Подведение итогов урока.

Teacher: Today we have spoken about different hobbies. I liked your answers, your stories ( and

dialogues,) the way you have worked. I think you have done your best. I give you all excellent

marks. In conclusion, I’d like to say that it’s very interesting to have a hobby. Hobbies help us to

learn more about our planet, to be more intelligent and well-educated. We should all have a
