Our appearance.
New Millennium English – 6, heterogeneous group.
Aims:
At the lesson the ss will recall the vocabulary, describe the people wearing different clothes, describe dolls and make proposal what to wear to different places.
Outcomes:

) Ss T Speaking 3 “In the shop”. We are going to visit a shop and choose some clothes. Listen, look, choose and buy. Start with “I’d like to buy …” Ss T Listening Speaking 4 Look at the slides. Tell me, please, what these people are wearing. (f.ex. Ann is wearing a blue skirt with pockets.) (Appendix A)

Ss T Speaking 5 We are going to work in pairs. Read the texts (Appendix B), try to understand them. Then look at the slides and match them with the parts of the text. Explain why you think so and find the key words in the text.

Pairs Ss T Reading for specific info/ Speaking 6 We are going to play the game “Detectives”. Some pupils will get pictures – they are criminals. Others will get descriptions – they are policemen. They must find the criminals described in their cards as quick as possible. You can go round the class and look for your pair. Ss Ss Speaking 7 Make groups. Each group will have a doll. Your task is to prepare the description of the doll with one mistake and share it with your classmates. The rest should find the mistake and name it. There is a sample of the description on the
